*A manzilian is a cosmetic treatment involving complete removal of the pubic hair by waxing any individual who has a male member (a penis). It includes the hair from the upper pubic area, the shaft, the sac, the perineum, and the butt crack. It is also called a brozilian or a boyzilian. A manzilian is different from a male bikini wax, which only removes the hair around the underwear line

Proper aftercare is essential following body waxing to minimize potential side effects, soothe the skin, and maintain a healthy appearance. Here are some tips for body waxing aftercare:

1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least 24-48 hours after waxing. Newly waxed skin is more sensitive and susceptible to sunburn.

2. Cool Compress: If you experience redness, apply a cold compress to the waxed area for a few minutes to reduce inflammation.

3. Avoid Hot Baths and Showers: Hot water can further irritate the skin, so it's best to take lukewarm showers or baths for the first 24-48 hours after waxing.

4. Avoid Exfoliation: Steer clear of any exfoliating products or scrubs for a few days after waxing. Exfoliating can be too abrasive on freshly waxed skin.

5. Moisturize: Apply a soothing, alcohol-free, and fragrance-free moisturizer to the waxed area to keep the skin hydrated. Aloe vera gel is also a good option for calming the skin.

6. Wear Loose Clothing: Tight-fitting clothes can rub against freshly waxed skin, causing irritation and ingrown hairs. Opt for loose, breathable clothing for a few days after your waxing session.

7. Avoid Touching: Avoid touching the waxed area with unwashed hands, as this can introduce bacteria and cause infection.

8. No Sunless Tanning: Steer clear of sunless tanning products, as they can irritate the skin and potentially lead to uneven coloration.

9. No Excessive Sweating: Avoid intense physical activities and sweating for the first 24-48 hours, as sweat can irritate the waxed area.

10. No Saunas or Steam Rooms: Stay away from saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for at least 48 hours, as the heat and humidity can aggravate the skin.

11. Keep Hands Clean: If you need to touch the waxed area for any reason, make sure your hands are clean to prevent infection.

12. Avoid Perfumes and Deodorants: Avoid using perfumes, scented lotions, or deodorants on the waxed area for at least 24 hours, as they can be irritating.

13. Exfoliate Gently: After a few days, you can start exfoliating the waxed area to help prevent ingrown hairs. Use a gentle exfoliating product or a soft brush but be careful not to overdo it.

14. Hair Maintenance: If you're planning to get waxed regularly, try to maintain a consistent waxing schedule to reduce the chances of hair breakage or ingrown hairs.

15. Consult a Professional: If you experience severe irritation, redness, or any signs of infection, consult a dermatologist or the professional who performed the waxing for advice.

Proper aftercare is crucial to ensure that your skin heals and regains its smoothness after waxing. If you have any concerns or questions, it's always a good idea to consult with a trained esthetician or waxing professional for personalized guidance.
